​Weatherize Concord is a campaign initiated by the City of Concord Energy & Environment Advisory Committee to increase the number of homes in Concord that complete energy audits and weatherization through the NHSaves program. Weatherization work reduces energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions, and improves home comfort, health and safety. Our goal is to weatherize at least 100 homes in Concord in 2026.

What is NH Saves?
​
NHSaves is a suite of programs administered by the electric and gas utility companies in New Hampshire to reduce energy usage by homes and businesses.
NH Saves Home Performance is a program available to homeowners to help reduce fuel and electricity consumption. ​  
The program includes the following:

  • ​​Home energy audits administered by qualified contractors at no cost for qualifying homes. 

  • Rebates of up to 75% off weatherization upgrades such as insulation and air sealing 

  • Rebates off LED lights, energy efficient appliances, and upgraded home heating and cooling systems 

  • Attractive financing options for customer co-pays include 0% on-bill financing up to $2,000 and low rate energy efficiency loans beyond that amount.
Participants in the Weatherize Concord initiative are also eligible for an additional $500 rebate on weatherization upgrades! This additional rebate amount is subject to change and based on funding availability, so be sure to sign up for the program early!
